Support Groups & Evening Activities

Each year, we offer a variety of support groups at the Conference. These groups are held in the evening once the daily workshops are completed. Support groups are a great opportunity to discuss issues related to OCD and related disorders in a supportive and understanding environment. There are support groups for the different subtypes of OCD (e.g., perfectionism, violent/sexual intrusive thoughts, etc.), for individuals with related disorders (such as BDD, hoarding and body focused repetitive disorders like skin picking), for kids, teens, young adults, parents and families, as well as mental health professionals.

Eveing ActivitiesAlong with support groups, we also hold many evening activities on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Evening activities are a great way to meet other Conference attendees! They are also meant to help attendees wind down after a full day of traveling and/or participating in presentations. Last year, we offered:

  • A Storytelling Event
  • ERP Boot Camp
  • An OCD Comedy Show
  • Yoga and Mindfulness
  • An Open Mic Night
  • Yoga and Mindfulness
  • And many more...!

The full Conference schedule including support group offerings will be available in April 2020.
